Stunning blue spinel ring made from 9ct yellow gold with an exceptionally large stone. High claw set to an open galleried mount, to a plain shank, marks to the inside of the ring are illegible (acid tests as 9ct gold), no makers mark or date, circa early 20th ce. The stone is very large and measures 12.7mm in diameter and has a very deep pavillion. The stone is overall in excellent condition, there is a small chip to the bottom of the.

Of the stone (pic 8) which cannot be seen when worn as it is underneath the setting and the table surface of the stone is bright and clean with some minute wear to a couple of the. Only seen when viewed with a loop. This ring has been cleaned and lightly re-polished ready for a new owner to enjoy.
